Plese allow us ...Yes totally agree with the writer. Plese allow us to think for ourselves and do respect our wish to live in Malaysia that is progressive and moderate.

I am a Malay, a Muslim. I pray and I try hard to practice Muhammad SAW teachings and I taught my children to be a good Muslim. My idea of a good Muslim may be different than many the Ustazs, but it does not necessarily mean I am wrong.

In fact the subject of the Ustazs has become the constant disagreement between my mom and I. She has been indoctrinated to believe that anyone calling himself Ustaz is always good, and right. My father and I are diefferent. We do not always agree with the Ustaz. You see... my father went to Sekolah Pondok somhe understands Islam quite well, and he does not think I am wrong to use my brain to question the Ustaz. My father understands and respects my opinion.

So why cant we bring back the Malaysia we had before? Yes I am in my 50s and I agree the Malaysia we have today is ugly. I pray we will have one brave and unselfish leader who will nurse back this country and hopefully tge scars will heal. Insyaallah...eAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
